At ICEPs (International College for Exercise Professionals), our mission is more than delivering accredited fitness education — it’s about using movement and community to empower lives. That’s why we’re proud to share our commitment to both health and social impact which led Team ICEPs to run the Ipswich Half Marathon in support of Futurestars.

Who Are Futurestars & Why ICEPs Supports Them

Futurestars is a UK-registered charity delivering sports coaching, educational support, and scholarships to children in Ghana.

Their work includes:

  • Daily PE and sports coaching for school children.

  • Building toilet blocks and improving facilities.

  • Providing uniforms, books, and learning resources.

  • Offering scholarships to children from disadvantaged backgrounds

Like ICEPs, Futurestars believes in the power of education and movement to change lives.

Trustee Will & ICEPs: Running for Futurestars

William Allen has supported Futurestars since 2016 and now serves as a trustee. To raise funds, he and a team from ICEPs joined the Ipswich Half Marathon, dedicating every mile to creating opportunities for children in West Africa.

The run helped:

  • Raise awareness of Futurestars

  • Mobilise the ICEPs community for a shared cause

  • Demonstrate how fitness can directly support education and wellbeing

You can still support the cause via our JustGiving page.

How Futurestars Aligns with ICEPs’ Vision

  1. Movement + Impact
We teach the science of exercise. Partnering with Futurestars shows how movement extends beyond fitness to global change.

  2. Education for All
ICEPs qualifications empower professionals. Futurestars extends this empowerment by making education accessible in disadvantaged communities.

  3. Community & Connection
ICEPs is about more than courses — it’s about community. Supporting Futurestars builds bridges between coaches, learners, and global development projects.

How You Can Support Futurestars

If you believe in the power of movement, here are ways to contribute:

  • Donate directly to Futurestars Charity
